Have you ever wondered about the origins of the Michael Jordan statue at the United Center? Of course you have, that’s why you religiously read this site 5 times a day. If you don’t you really should start, I hear it’s the only way to get the NBA to come out of the lockout (they track our page visit count).
Anyway, NBA.com can’t post anything on current players due to the lockout which kind of sucks. But they can post all kinds of things on retired players, especially the legends of the game.
The Bulls’ site just put up a video and the story about how Michael’s Jordan logo statue came together while MJ was off playing baseball. Check it out.
This rumor doesn’t seem to have much legs, but ESPN did have Ric Bucher look into it.
He states that Kobe has, “far more attractive options”, as far as places to play next season, if the NBA remains in a lockout.
48 year old Michael Jordan can still dunk.
I’m sure no one doubted that MJ will dunk until he’s in a coffin. The real question is how many Cortisone shots did he need after this one attempt?
